Receptionist
JoAnna is the welcoming and efficient receptionist here at Exeter Veterinary Hospital. She is also a devoted mother to her daughter, Audriella, who brings immense joy to her life. A true animal lover, she shares her home with a charming cat named Georgie and a playful dog named Snowflake.
Outside of work, JoAnna is actively involved with her church, Pipeline of Visalia, CA. She cherishes quality time with her family and close friends, creating lasting memories together.

Alyssa
Veterinary Technician
With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the veterinary field, Alyssa has honed a deep expertise in phlebotomy, surgical procedures, and anesthesia management. Whether it’s a tricky vein or a critical surgery, there’s no challenge too big for her compassionate and steady hands. From her time as an ICU nurse to a surgery technician, Alyssa’s career has been defined by her unwavering dedication to animal care and her ability to stay calm under pressure.
When she’s not saving lives in the clinic, Alyssa finds joy in the great outdoors – hiking with her family, singing to her plants (yes, she’s convinced they appreciate the tunes), and finding peace at church. Above all, she treasures time spent with her dog Sid, her two sons, and her supportive husband, always finding balance in the chaos of life.
Alyssa brings not just skill but heart to everything she does – truly a veterinary technician with a love for all creatures, big and small.
Jennifer
Veterinary Assistant
Jennifer is a dedicated and passionate veterinary professional who finds immense joy in seeing her patients make full recoveries and return to their loving homes.
Jennifer is deeply committed to the well-being of animals, a devotion that extends beyond her professional life into her personal time. In addition to her work in veterinary medicine, Jennifer volunteers at the SPCA, where she plays a crucial role in mass feral cat spay and neuter clinics. Her efforts help control the feral cat population and improve the lives of countless animals.
Outside of work, Jennifer shares her home with a lively family that includes two dogs, four cats, and her two beloved children, Jace and Ava. Balancing her professional responsibilities, volunteer work, and family life, Jennifer exemplifies commitment and compassion. Her contributions to animal welfare and her community are truly inspiring.
Aidan
Veterinary Technician
Aidan joined the Exeter Veterinary Hospital team in 2020. She has always had a passion for animals and knew she wanted to pursue a career in this field, aiming to achieve as much as possible. Aidan is well acquainted with the area, having grown up in Exeter, Tipton, and surrounding towns. She attended Mission Oak High School and later College of the Sequoias, where she was involved in the Women’s Equestrian Riding Team and Livestock Show Team. She continued her education at SJVC in Bakersfield, graduating from the Veterinary Assistant program.
In addition to her work in the clinic, Aidan is also active in her community, volunteering at the SPCA spay and neuter clinic. At home, she has an FIV-positive cat named Dinah and a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Ace. Her life goal is to have a home filled with animals. In her free time, Aidan enjoys reading, crafting (including drawing, painting, and DIY projects), baking, watching TV, riding bikes, and spending time with her son James and her husband Zach.
Cassie
Veterinary Nurse
Cassie Whitney holds an Associate of Sciences in Animal Science and is science certified for large animals. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent psychology. When not working full-time at Exeter Veterinary Hospital, she substitutes for teaching on available days. Cassie takes immense pride in her little family, which includes her four-year-old son, Jaxson, and her husband, Michael. Their furry companions consist of two large breed dogs: a German Shepherd named Izzy and a Golden Retriever named Nemo. Additionally, they share their home with three barn cats and one indoor/outdoor cat.
Cassie’s dedication to both animals and education makes her an asset to the Exeter Veterinary Hospital.
Anna
Veterinary Assistant
From a young age, Anna has been captivated by the world of animals, and this passion has driven her to pursue a career where she can make a positive impact on their health and well-being. As a dedicated veterinary assistant, Anna has found a way to merge her lifelong love of animals with her professional expertise.
Anna holds an associate’s degree in animal science with a minor in agriculture, which has provided her with a solid foundation in animal care and agricultural practices. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and committed, Anna plays a vital role in supporting both pets as well as their loving owners. Her ongoing drive to expand her knowledge ensures that she will continue to provide the highest level of care to every patient she works with.
